VeriFactu adapter

Adapt your ERP to VeriFactu without migrating

Dokuflex works as a VeriFactu adapter on top of your existing management system. It reads invoice data from your ERP via CSV, XML or API connectors, generates the invoice record with chained SHA-256 hash, XAdES signature and tax QR, and submits it to Spain's AEAT. No need to switch software or retrain the finance team.

Regulation modes

VeriFactu vs non-VeriFactu: which mode is right for you?

RD 1007/2023 defines two compliance modes. The choice depends on invoicing volume, connectivity and the taxpayer's profile.

Feature VeriFactu mode Non-VeriFactu mode
Real-time AEAT submission Yes No · local register kept by the taxpayer
Submission frequency Immediate after each invoice is issued On AEAT request
Chained SHA-256 hash Yes Yes
XAdES electronic signature Optional Mandatory
Mandatory tax QR Yes Yes
Retention period 10 years 10 years
Recommended for Any invoicing volume with stable connectivity Very high volumes or environments with limited connectivity

Dokuflex lets you switch between both modes without migration. Start in VeriFactu mode and switch to non-VeriFactu (or vice versa) from the console — without touching your ERP or retraining the team.

Frequently asked questions

What we hear most often

What if I use SAP, Sage or a custom ERP?

Dokuflex connects to your ERP with no changes. Native connectors for SAP, Sage, A3, Holded, Dynamics and APIs for custom systems. You comply without touching your software.

How much does VeriFactu with Dokuflex cost?

Start free, no credit card. Plans from EUR 19/month based on invoice volume. Includes 10-year archive at no extra cost.

What happens if submission to AEAT fails?

Automatic retries with exponential backoff. If AEAT is down, Dokuflex stores and resends when it's back. Nothing is lost, nothing is duplicated.

How long does it take to go live?

Connection to your ERP in 24-48 hours. Invoices submitted to AEAT the same day. No endless projects, no consultants.

Where is the mandatory QR generated?

Automatically on every PDF invoice and receipt. Meets the exact format required by the regulation without any effort on your part.

When does VeriFactu become mandatory for my company?

Per Spain's RD 254/2025, which postponed the original calendar: 1 January 2027 for entities subject to Corporate Tax and 1 July 2027 for self-employed and the rest of obligated taxpayers. Since 29 July 2025 software vendors may only commercialise certified billing systems.

Do I need to change my ERP to comply with VeriFactu?

No. Dokuflex works as a VeriFactu adapter on top of SAP, Sage 50/200/X3, A3 (Wolters Kluwer), Holded, Dynamics 365, Navision, Odoo and custom ERPs via CSV, XML or API connectors. There is no need to migrate or touch the current system.

What are the penalties for not complying with VeriFactu?

Spain's Law 11/2021 (art. 201 bis LGT) sets fines of up to EUR 50,000 per fiscal year for taxpayers using non-certified billing software, and up to 2 percent of invoiced amounts in other scenarios. General guidance based on official sources: for case-specific scenarios, consult your tax advisor.

What is the difference between VeriFactu and SII?

SII (Immediate Supply of Information) is the obligation to report VAT ledgers in near real time, mainly applicable to large companies and VAT groups. VeriFactu is the chained invoice-record system with SHA-256 hash, tax QR and submission to AEAT, defined by RD 1007/2023. They can coexist and serve different purposes.
