Update, 20 Oct 2026: on 5 October 2026 the Spanish Ministry of Finance (Hacienda) announced, in an information note, the postponement of VeriFactu to October 2028, to align it with B2B e-invoicing (Order HAC/1028/2026). Until the amendment is published in the BOE (Spain's Official State Gazette), the legal dates remain 1 January 2027 (Corporate Tax) and 1 July 2027 (self-employed and the rest of obligated taxpayers). If you invoice with a3ERP, a3innuva ERP or a3factura by Wolters Kluwer, the software is already declared adapted to Spain's SIF Regulation. Dokuflex is the VeriFactu adapter for A3 that adds what the software does not do: an approval cycle before issuing, the 10-year legal archive with qualified time-stamping, and one and the same chained record, QR and AEAT submission for a3 and the rest of your group's systems. Without changing software.

Spain's RD 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024 regulate the billing information system (SIF) you issue invoices with. Every invoice and every receipt produced by a3ERP, a3innuva ERP or a3factura must generate an invoice record with a chained SHA-256 hash, carry the printed tax QR and, in VeriFactu mode, be submitted to the AEAT (Spain's tax agency) at the moment of issue (in non-VeriFactu mode, the record is signed with XAdES and kept). In addition, the taxpayer must keep the records and be able to hand them over on request.
Wolters Kluwer declares a3ERP, a3innuva ERP and a3factura adapted, and a3innuva lets you choose the mode from within the application. What the regulation requires can therefore already be covered by the software. The decisions left to the company are different ones: which issuing points exist besides a3 (a POS in a store, a sales-rep app, another group entity running SAP or Sage), whether each invoice must go through an approval before the record is generated, and where the invoices and their evidence are kept for 10 years. That is where the adapter comes in.
Penalties: Spain's Law 11/2021 (art. 201 bis LGT, the General Tax Act) provides fines of up to €50,000 per fiscal year for using non-certified billing software. General guidance based on official sources: for your specific case, consult your tax advisor. The overview of the adapter for all ERPs is on the VeriFactu adapter for SAP, Sage, A3 and Holded page.
If you only invoice from a3 and need nothing else, activate the software's adaptation with your Wolters Kluwer partner. Dokuflex makes sense when the invoicing cycle is more than the software.
| Need | a3ERP / a3innuva / a3factura | Dokuflex VeriFactu adapter |
|---|---|---|
| Chained record, QR and AEAT submission for what a3 invoices | Yes, per Wolters Kluwer's declaration; a3innuva picks the mode from within the application | Yes, reading the issued invoices via CSV, XML or API, without touching the software |
| Approval and signature before issuing the invoice | Out of the invoicing software's scope | BPMN process with validation, approval and electronic signature; the record is generated when the workflow completes |
| Other issuing points (POS, sales-rep app, another entity on SAP or Sage) | Only covers what is invoiced from a3 | One adapter for a3, SAP, Sage, Holded, Dynamics, POS and custom systems |
| 10-year legal archive | Retention according to the software and its configuration | Included, with qualified time-stamping and the evidence of every approval |
| VeriFactu / non-VeriFactu mode | Depends on product and configuration | Switch between modes from the console, with no migration |
| Supplier invoices (what you receive) | Out of VeriFactu's scope | AI OCR and certified digitisation in AEAT invoice management |

Your team keeps invoicing in a3 exactly as before. Dokuflex does the rest.
Create your account in 30 seconds. Register the Spanish tax ID (CIF) of each obligated entity and its electronic certificate.
Dokuflex reads the invoices issued in a3ERP, a3innuva or a3factura via CSV, XML or API connector. If the invoice must be approved first, the BPMN workflow is designed with clicks, no coding.
Every invoice receives the chained SHA-256 hash, the XAdES signature and the tax QR, is submitted to the AEAT with automatic retries and is kept for 10 years with qualified time-stamping.
Step by step, with the points to check before starting, in the guide how to adapt your ERP to VeriFactu.
Three situations that keep coming up in SMEs and accounting firms working with a3, and what Dokuflex solves in each one.
Certified construction work, milestone-based services, invoicing to public administrations: someone must validate the amount and the supporting documents before issuing. In Dokuflex the approval is a task in the BPMN process, with signature where applicable, and the chained record is generated at the end; every step is audited.
Groups that grew through acquisitions and keep a3ERP in one subsidiary, Sage in another and a POS in the store. A single VeriFactu adapter covers every issuing point with the same record, the same legal archive and the same console, instead of three solutions to maintain.
The invoice issued in a3 must end up next to the contract, the delivery note and the approval evidence, kept for 10 years with qualified time-stamping and findable in an inspection. Dokuflex stores the invoice, its record and its context in the same case file.

RD 254/2025 first moved the dates set by RD 1007/2023 to 2026, and Royal Decree-Law 15/2025 of 2 December postponed them to 2027. These are the dates in force in the BOE, plus the October 2026 announcement that does not yet amend them:
Software vendors may only commercialise Billing Information Systems (SIF) certified under the VeriFactu rules.
Mandatory for entities subject to Spanish Corporate Tax (sociedades mercantiles and other legal persons liable for IS).
Mandatory for self-employed workers and the rest of obligated taxpayers: the usual profile of a3factura and of many accounting-firm clients.
Information note from the Spanish Ministry of Finance: planned postponement of VeriFactu to October 2028, to align it with B2B e-invoicing (Order HAC/1028/2026). Not published in the BOE as of 20 Oct 2026: until RD 1007/2023 is amended, the 2027 dates apply.
Order HAC/1028/2026, in force since 6 October 2026, gives companies with a turnover above 8 million euros 12 months, and all others 24 months, to issue and receive invoices in a structured format. It is a separate obligation from VeriFactu, with its own calendar.
a3 remains your invoicing software. Dokuflex adds the prior approval, the chaining, the QR, the AEAT submission and the 10-year archive, for a3 and for the rest of your group's systems.
Compliant with RD 1007/2023 and Order HAC/1177/2024, live in 48h, with the 10-year archive included.
According to Wolters Kluwer, a3ERP, a3innuva ERP and a3factura are adapted to Spain's SIF Regulation, and a3innuva lets you choose VeriFactu or non-VeriFactu mode from within the application. If all your invoicing comes out of there and you need nothing else, it is enough to activate it and apply the configuration your partner indicates. Dokuflex comes in when you also want an approval cycle before issuing, the 10-year legal archive with qualified time-stamping, or a single adapter for a3 and the other systems in the group.
The integrations published on the platform are A3 ERP, A3 Nom and A3 Asesor by Wolters Kluwer. For the rest of the a3 ecosystem (a3innuva, a3factura, a3ECO and other modules), the adapter works as with any other invoicing system: it reads the issued invoices via CSV, XML or API export. The specific versions of your installation are confirmed in the demo before starting.
No. Dokuflex is a complement, not a replacement: your team keeps invoicing in a3ERP or a3innuva as before and the adapter adds the record with chained SHA-256 hash, the XAdES signature, the tax QR and the AEAT submission without touching the software or retraining the finance team. If a submission fails, it is retried automatically and nothing is duplicated.
Yes. It is the most common case in the a3 ecosystem: the invoice goes through a BPMN process of validation, approval and, where applicable, electronic signature, and the chained record is generated when the workflow completes, not before. Every step leaves a trace of who approved what, and the invoice is kept in the 10-year legal archive together with its evidence.
The legal dates in force, set by Spain's Royal Decree-Law 15/2025 of 2 December (RD 254/2025 had previously moved them to 2026), are 1 January 2027 for entities subject to Corporate Tax and 1 July 2027 for self-employed workers and the rest of obligated taxpayers. On 5 October 2026 the Spanish Ministry of Finance announced a postponement to October 2028, but as of 20 October 2026 that amendment has not been published in the BOE. Since 29 July 2025 software vendors may only commercialise certified software.
The Spanish Ministry of Finance announced it on 5 October 2026 in an information note, to align it with B2B e-invoicing (Order HAC/1028/2026). Until the amendment of RD 1007/2023 is published in the BOE, the dates in force remain 1 January 2027 and 1 July 2027. The technical requirements (chained record, hash, QR and AEAT submission) do not change, so whatever you adapt now remains valid: it makes sense to continue the pilot without a last-quarter rush.
No. Dokuflex connects to each issuing system with its own connector (a3 in a subsidiary, SAP at headquarters, Sage or Holded in another entity, a POS in a store) and applies the same chained record, QR and AEAT submission to all of them. It is designed for groups that want to cover entities running different ERPs without ending up with three VeriFactu solutions to maintain.
The connection to the software is ready in 24-48 hours and invoices are submitted to the AEAT the same day. You can start free, no credit card; plans start at €19 per month depending on invoice volume, with the 10-year legal archive included.
Connect your a3ERP or a3innuva and submit to the AEAT within 48 hours. No credit card, no software change.
