Contract Creator is the contracts module of Dokuflex: you upload the PDF, decide who validates and who signs and in what order, place the fields each party fills in, send it by standard or certified email and follow the flow through to the signed PDF with its evidence report. Nothing for the signer to install, and no separate signing tool to pay for.
Electronic signature replaced the pen. It did not solve what happens before signing, or what happens after.
“Contract_v3_final_OK.pdf”. Nobody is quite sure which one went out for signature, who reviewed it beforehand or whether the change to clause 7 made it in.
Someone has to remember that the supplier's signature is still missing, write to them again, resend the correct PDF and note down somewhere that it is done.
The signing tool does not know that this contract is a new employee or a new supplier. Downloading the signed copy, uploading it to the file and telling the next person is all done by hand.
Another account, more users, another invoice and annual sending quotas. For contracts that already originate in a process you have built.
The Contract Creator wizard ticks off each completed step and will not let you send until the flow is complete.
Upload the contract PDF or start from a ready-made template. If the contract originates in a Dokuflex process, the form data is stamped onto the PDF before it is sent.
Define who signs and in what order, add a validator to approve it first and recipients in copy. Choose the channel: standard email, certified email, with SMS or with certified SMS.
Drag onto the PDF the fields each signer fills in: text, date, selection, checkboxes and handwritten signature. Each field is colour-coded by signer, so you can see at a glance who completes what.
Set daily, weekly or custom reminders and an expiry date. The timeline shows every milestone; you can resend the invitation, resend the copy or download the signed PDF and its report at any time.
The validator role sits in the flow like any other signer, usually first. They receive the contract, review it on the same public page and approve or reject it with a reason. If approved, the flow moves on to the next party. If rejected, the contract goes back to draft, the reason is kept in the history and whoever created it receives an email so they can fix it.
And once signing starts, each signer sees what has already happened: the PDF is progressive, so the second signer receives the document with the first signer's text and signature already stamped on it, not a blank PDF they have to trust will match the other one.
What is strictly sequential today: the flow moves from signer to signer, in the order you define. Parallel signing by several parties at once is on the product roadmap, not in the current version.
When someone asks who signed, from where and which version, the answer is in a document sealed with your organisation's certificate.
When the flow closes, each party receives its copy of the signed contract and the system generates the evidence report: signers and order, date and time of each signature, device and IP address, images of the handwritten signatures and a reference to the exact version of the PDF, which is versioned at every signature. The report is signed with your organisation's digital certificate, in the same format as the Dokuflex signature report.
If the channel was certified, the contract's certified communications panel shows, for the invitation, each reminder and the final copy, the delivery and opening status and the SMS result, and each communication keeps its own report with the message sent and its fingerprint.
The signature is an electronic signature with evidence, within the terms of article 25 of the eIDAS Regulation and Spanish Law 6/2020. When a specific contract calls for an advanced or qualified signature, Dokuflex offers SMS-code, biometric and certificate-based signatures in its digital signature module.
See a sample reportContract Creator is a component of the forms and processes of Dokuflex BPM. A process can generate the contract, stamp the data collected in the form onto the PDF, launch the flow and, once it completes, carry on with whatever comes next: onboard the employee, activate the supplier or notify the customer.
The signed PDF and its evidence report are stored in the file in the document management system, with the same permissions and the same audit trail as the rest of the platform. And the process that generated it knows it has been signed, so the next step starts on its own.
Templates do the rest: any contract can be saved as a template with its fields already placed, and the next one is created by simply naming the new signers.
The difference is not in the signature. It is in everything around it.

An electronically signed contract is disputed, if at all, on three points: which document it was, who signed it and when. The evidence report answers all three with data and is sealed with your organisation's certificate.
References link to their official source. This page is not legal advice: the signature level each contract needs depends on its nature and on your policies.
An electronic signature shall not be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence solely because it is in electronic form or is not qualified. This is the article that underpins Contract Creator's signature with evidence; article 26 defines the advanced signature and article 43 the certified electronic delivery used by certified email.
Implements eIDAS in Spain and sets out how a non-qualified electronic signature is assessed in court: whoever challenges it must substantiate the challenge, and the evidence is what gets examined. The more complete the report, the less there is to argue about.
Signers' data, including their IP address, is processed for the purpose of proving the signature, retained with the contract and protected with encryption and access control. Hosted in the European Union; the trust centre details the measures.
In the agri-food sector, the contract must be formalised in writing before delivery and is subject to inspection by AICA. Contract Creator covers the signing; the AICA contracts module (in Spanish) covers registration and deadlines.
Contract management software with electronic signature has to cover the whole cycle: prepare the document, validate it, send it to the parties in the right order, sign it with proof and file it somewhere it can be found. Contract Creator does exactly that inside Dokuflex, with no separate signing tool: the contract is created from a template or from the PDF your process generates, passes through a validator if you require one, goes out by standard or certified email and comes back signed with its evidence report into the file in the document management system.
What it does not do today is also stated: it does not draft the contract from a clause library or negotiate versions with the other party, and the signing flow is sequential. If what you need is negotiation with tracked changes or a qualified signature issued by a provider, it is only fair to say so before the demo.
To sign a contract online with a customer, a supplier or an employee, all they need is the link they receive by email, or by email and on their mobile if you choose the SMS channel. They open it in the browser, see the contract with the signatures already on it, fill in the fields you have assigned to them, draw their signature and they are done. No account to create, no app to install and nothing to print. You get the milestone on the timeline and, when the last party signs, the signed copy and the evidence report for everyone.
Contract Creator's sequential signing flow defines who signs and in what order, and lets you place a validator wherever you want, usually at the start. The validator approves or rejects with a reason; on rejection, the contract goes back to draft and the creator is notified. Each signer sees the PDF with the previous signatures already stamped on it, reminders go out at the frequency you set and expiry closes the flow if nobody signs. Everything stays in the contract's history, including what did not go to plan.
Contract lifecycle management starts before the signature, in the supplier or employee onboarding form, and continues afterwards, in the file and in the process alerts. Contract Creator is a component of Dokuflex forms and processes: the process stamps the collected data onto the PDF, launches the flow and carries on once it completes. The signed contract and its report stay in the document management system, with the same permissions and the same audit trail, and the contracts and renewals process in the template library adds validity periods, renewals and expiry alerts.
Signaturit and Docusign are signing tools: they take a PDF and return a signed PDF, with advanced and qualified signature levels that Contract Creator does not offer on its own. Contract Creator is a contracts module inside a process platform: validator, certified channel, process data in the document, filing in the record and a price included in the platform. For everyday contracts it is usually enough; when a qualified signature is required, the specialist still makes sense. We compare them point by point in Contract Creator vs Signaturit (in Spanish) and on our Signaturit alternative page for signing in general.
Contract Creator is the Dokuflex module for preparing, approving, sending and signing contracts within the same process that originates them. A signing tool receives a finished PDF and returns a signed PDF; Contract Creator covers what happens before and after: who validates the contract before it is sent, through which channel it goes out and with what proof, what each party signs, which process data is stamped onto the document and where the signed PDF is filed with its evidence report.
No. Each signer receives a link by email, or by certified email and SMS if you set it up that way, and signs from the browser on their computer, tablet or phone. They fill in the fields you have assigned to them, draw their signature and they are done. They need neither a Dokuflex account nor any app.
It is an electronic signature with an evidence report. Article 25 of the eIDAS Regulation establishes that an electronic signature cannot be denied legal effect or admissibility as evidence solely because it is electronic, and Spanish Law 6/2020 implements this in Spain. The report records who received the link, from which device and IP address each party signed, when, and on which exact version of the document, and it is sealed with your organisation's certificate. If a specific contract requires an advanced or qualified signature, Dokuflex offers SMS-code, biometric and certificate-based signatures in its digital signature module.
The list of signers and their order, the date and time of each signature, the device and IP address each signature was made from, the images of the handwritten signatures and the reference to the signed document, which is versioned at every signature. The report is signed with the organisation's digital certificate. If it was sent by certified email or certified SMS, each communication also has its own report with delivery and opening.
Yes. When defining the signers you can add a validator at any point in the flow, usually at the start. The validator receives the contract, reviews it and approves or rejects it with a reason. If approved, the flow moves on to the next signer; if rejected, the contract goes back to draft, the reason is kept in the history and whoever created it is notified so they can correct it.
The flow sends them reminders at the frequency you choose, daily, weekly or custom, until the expiry date you set. From the tracking view you can resend the invitation at any time. If the expiry date arrives without a signature, the contract is marked as expired and this is recorded; you can restart the flow or create a new one from the template.
Yes. In the signers step you choose the sending channel: standard email, certified email, certified email with SMS or with certified SMS. With the certified channel, the invitation, the reminders and the final copy go out through Dokuflex's certified email service, which keeps the message sent with its fingerprint and records delivery and opening. The SMS options require each signer's mobile number and an SMS sending account in your organisation.
Yes. Any contract can be saved as a template with its fields already placed on the document. When you create a new contract from the template you only enter the new signers and the fields are reassigned to each of them. It is the usual way of working with employment contracts, addenda, non-disclosure agreements or recurring service contracts.
Contract Creator is one more component of Dokuflex forms and processes. A process can generate the contract, stamp the data collected in the form onto the PDF, launch the signing flow and, once it completes, continue with the next step: onboard the employee, activate the supplier or file the record in the document management system with the signed PDF and its evidence report.
There is no separate price: it is included in the Dokuflex platform with the same users, permissions and audit trail. You can create a free account with no card required to try it with your first contract, and platform plans start from 25 € per user per month on the Starter plan with an annual subscription. Certified email and certified SMS are consumed per unit. Check what each plan includes on the plans and pricing page.
For most everyday contracts, yes: employment contracts, addenda, non-disclosure agreements, service or tenancy agreements are prepared, validated, sent and signed inside the process without paying for a separate signing tool. Signaturit remains the right choice when you need a qualified trust service provider for a qualified signature or an advanced signature with a certificate it issues, or you only need a signing engine via API for your own system. We compare them point by point in Contract Creator vs Signaturit (in Spanish).
In data centres in the European Union, with encryption in transit and at rest, segregation by organisation and an audit log, in line with the GDPR. The public signing page only shows the document to the holder of the link and does not leave the contract indexable. The trust and security centre details the measures.
There is nothing to install and no extra account to set up: it is one more Dokuflex module, with the users and permissions you already have. Upload a PDF, add a signer and send it to yourself. Or bring your three most common contracts to a twenty-minute demo.
